Life Simulator: From the Start, I Was a Palace Maid

An alternate-world, unorthodox story of gourmet food and climbing the ranks Yu Linlang is doomed from the start. She begins as a palace maid candidate forced to take her sister’s place. And she gets a ridiculous cheat ability thrown in for free... [Ding! Life Simulator has finished starting up!] [Would you like to begin the simulation?] “Yes.” [Early in the first month: Your wicked stepmother knocks you out with a drug and sends you to the palace maid selection in a carriage.] [Midway through the first month: After entering the palace, you are given the name Linlang. You seem to have offended the head palace matron, and are assigned to the Cold Palace...] [Late in the first month: You are bitten to death by a rat!] Linlang: “????” Ridiculous! Start over! “A fortune-teller said we’re destined to be together.” “Why didn’t that show up in my simulation?!” [Werewolf in rabbit’s clothing, chaotic good office drone × cool on the outside, warm on the inside, a man of integrity] *A palace-life workplace comedy about getting promoted and earning a raise *One-on-one romance, both leads are virgins; not an overpowered wish-fulfillment story *Entirely fictional setting, no historical research required
