The Tough Farmer’s Daughter: His Highness Won’t Let Go

After transmigrating, a martial arts instructor becomes a farm girl. Her father is crippled, her mother blind, and her elder brother lame. They survive each day on wild greens and tree bark. Her grandfather is henpecked, her step-grandmother vicious, her uncles slippery, her aunt pitiful, and the landlord is forcing her to become his concubine. Fortunately, Xia Mujin has plenty of skills. She can hunt in the mountains, catch fish in the river, and even use a handful of firewood as medicine. She takes on her step-grandmother, sets the landlord ablaze, beats her uncles, protects her grandfather and aunt, and keeps her family laughing while her enemies howl. One day, she comes across an injured man who is nothing but trouble. He freeloads, eats her food, and refuses to leave. Xia Mujin’s face turns cold. With a wave of her hand, she puts a hoe in his grip. “If you want to eat, work for it. Do you want to plow the fields or turn the soil? You decide.”
