Genius Baby: Where Did Daddy Go?

My name is Xia Xiaobai, and I’m five years old. I also have a little brother named Xia Xiaohan. Thank goodness he isn’t called Xia Xiaohei, or it would sound absolutely awful. Mommy told me our absent dad died an untimely death. No, he died of syphilis. Good thing he’s gone. Having a dad like that would be so embarrassing, wouldn’t it? Lots of uncles look at Mommy like wolves spotting their prey, their eyes gleaming green. No, they make all sorts of solemn promises. My little brother and I don’t like any of them. But lately, I’ve noticed that my mommy’s senior’s friend, Chu Hanxiu, is really handsome, and I’ve started to like him. He might not be bad as a dad, either. Mommy doesn’t think too highly of him. Whenever they meet, things get pretty heated. No, they practically make waves. And I heard he’s already engaged? Oh my God, I’ll cause a huge scene at his wedding. Heh, let’s see how you explain suddenly having a pair of twin sons!
