Back to the Fifties with a Pocket Dimension

Back in the harsh 1950s, Mei Susu looked at the disgust in everyone's eyes and clung to the only person who loved her, her grandmother.

She wasn't afraid of the drafty house, the patched-up cotton clothes that let in the wind, or those vicious stares.

As long as she drew breath, she would make her grandmother happy and protect everyone who had once shown her kindness.

No food? She'd grow some!

No meat? She'd catch some!

No water? She'd find some!

No fish or shrimp? She...

She accidentally went a little overboard.

The people who wanted to drink her blood and eat her flesh now clung to her arm and begged for attention;

The companions who swore they'd teach her a lesson now chased after her every day, calling her their big sister;

Even the man who was as cold as an ice sculpture secretly thought every day about taking her home to warm his bed.

Mei Susu says: I was clearly a wicked woman, so how did I become everyone's favorite?
