Drawn into Marriage

Rumors are flying around S City that rising business star Mu Yunshen is keeping a mistress in a secret hideaway behind his fiancée’s back. They say the woman is mute, too. Later, the mute woman’s identity burst onto the front pages of S City like a storm, and the revelation that she was married shocked the entire city. Mu Yunshen twirled the newspaper in his fingers and sneered. “I spoil my wife. What the hell is that to you?” Some people say Mu Yunshen dotes on Lu Chu obsessively. When the news reached Lu Chu, she gave a cool smile. “He married me to atone for his sins.” That night, Mu Yunshen trapped her between his arms, his voice low and cool. “Mrs. Mu, there are countless kinds of sins in this world, and each carries a different sentence. Tell me, when will your husband’s term be over?” * When Lu Chu was young, she loved someone. Later, that person was destroyed by Mu Yunshen. Years later, when they met again, she told Mu Yunshen, “Mu Yunshen, I will never love you.” Mu Yunshen always thought Lu Chu didn’t love him, never realizing that the woman who swore she would never love him had long since fallen hopelessly ill with love.
