A Diamond Marriage: My Sweetheart

Jun Yi was stood up by the same man on all three of her blind dates. On the third occasion, Jun Yi stood up, drained the coffee that had gone cold in front of her, and calmly called her father. “Dad, from now on, even if you get down on your knees and beg, I’m never going on another blind date. And as for this Xu Shen, I’d better never run into him...” Xu Shen, male, thirty years old, associate chief physician in the Neurosurgery Department, Ward Two, at A Hospital. He is aloof, sharp-tongued, and ascetic. Only when he picks up a scalpel does he show even the slightest hint of human warmth. Jun Yi, female, twenty-four years old, graduated from college two years ago, and works as a social news reporter. She is clever, passionate, and full of life, facing everything with a sincere heart. Part 1 Their first meeting. Jun Yi’s boss assigns her to A Hospital to interview Xu Shen up close. Before surgery, the female nurses scramble for the chance to help Xu Shen put on his surgical gown. It is the dream of every nurse at A Hospital. Xu Shen watches coldly, then extends his long, bony fingers and points at Jun Yi as if bestowing a favor. “You. Come here.” Jun Yi instantly finds herself the target of countless jealous glares. Part 2 Before the wedding. Jun Yi: “Even if every man in the world were dead, I still wouldn’t marry you!” Xu Shen: “If you’re going to curse every man in the world with such a vicious oath, then I have even more reason to marry you and rid the world of harm.” Jun Yi: “You’re shameless!” Xu Shen smiles faintly. “That’s right. I have no shame. I want you.”
