I'm Caught by a Snake

On the day I was born, two snakes, one female and one male, fell from the eaves in front of the house. My grandfather, who has been a snake catcher all his life, actually knelt down to those two snakes on the spot. Everyone was frightened by my grandfather's behavior. I was three days old, but I still didn't eat or drink, didn't cry or make trouble, and just kept my eyes open. My family was frightened and thought I was possessed by an evil spirit, so they specially asked the village goddess to exorcise the evil spirit from me. When the goddess saw me, she turned pale with fear and asked my parents to bury me quickly. It was said that the girl would not survive, and the snake fairy had been thinking about her since she was born.
