A Good Doctor in the Tang Dynasty

Wang Ping'an, a descendant of a modern family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, has his soul transmigrate to the Tang Dynasty through a chance encounter. It is a glorious era when Chinese medicine flourishes and begins to spread throughout the world...

Traditional Chinese medicine is vast and profound. Based on the theories of yin and yang and the five elements, it uses the four diagnostic methods of inspection, listening and smelling, inquiry, and palpation to investigate the causes of illness. Guided by the principle of treatment based on syndrome differentiation, it applies methods such as sweating, vomiting, purging, harmonizing, warming, clearing, tonifying, and reducing. It employs a wide range of treatments, including herbal medicine, acupuncture, tui na, massage, cupping, qigong, and dietary therapy, to restore the balance of yin and yang in the body and bring about recovery.

Traditional Chinese medicine is a precious treasure of the Chinese nation and has made immense contributions to its growth and prosperity.
