Lord of the Underworld

In the freshness of youth, amid a fine, hazy drizzle, he is the young master of Four Seasons Manor.

In the distant jianghu and lofty halls of power, he is the mastermind who shapes the world.

When Leifeng Pagoda falls and the waters of West Lake run dry, he still cannot wait for the person he longs to see.

He is a lord and a beggar, a lofty gentleman and an ordinary man. Those who fear him do so as they would a demon; those who respect him revere him as a god. This is the story of an immortal herb on the banks of the River of Heaven, caught in endless cycles of reincarnation. It may also be happening right beside you and me.

Through endless ages, he quietly looks back. The stars have faded, and Ji Liao alone remains an immortal.
