Starting from Ancient Costume Suspense Dramas

Li Xun is a screenwriter waiting to start work at Penguin Video. The day before his official first day, he runs into a beautiful woman who boasts that she's a vice president at a Fortune 500 company and makes over ten million a year. She is clearly drunk, and actually asks Li Xun to kiss her, offering him a hundred yuan for each kiss. Li Xun walks away content after pocketing ten thousand yuan. But when he officially starts at Penguin Video the next day, he is stunned: that woman is really...?

This is the story of a junior screenwriter who, under pressure from his beautiful boss, takes the internet by storm with The Young Detective Bao, keeps breaking records with Detective Di Renjie, becomes a legend with The Great Song Dynasty Judge, and reaches new heights with The Longest Day in Chang'an, gradually becoming one of the country's top masters of suspense dramas.

But just when people think he's only good at writing suspense dramas, he'll put his actions where his words are and leave everyone utterly stunned.
