The Skeletal Archmage

Gris sat on the ground, gripped his own shinbones with both hands, and twisted. One leg came off.

He did the same to the other leg. Then he gauged the height of the suitcase, reached for his spine, and twisted hard. His pelvis came off too.

Supporting himself on his upper body, he crawled into the suitcase and lay down. He reached out, picked up his pelvis, foot bones, and the rest, and stacked them on top of himself. Then he reached for the suitcase lid and closed it.

Alex stared, dumbfounded, as Gris dismantled himself piece by piece, packed himself away, and even shut the lid. His face twitched with an expression that was quite a sight.
