The Farm Girl: The General's Little Lucky Wife

Yin Tao, a workplace high-flyer, works herself to death and wakes up as a peasant girl in ancient times.

Life is poor in the farming village. Yin Tao's father is a scholar who has repeatedly failed the exams and is away studying on his own.

Fortunately, Yin Tao's mother supports her husband, who does no work, and their three children with her exquisite embroidery.

Her eldest sister is gentle and virtuous, and her embroidery skills surpass even their mother's.

Her little brother is mature beyond his years, though he acts like a child only around Yin Tao.

For a while, Yin Tao thinks life is peaceful and secure, until her mother nearly dies giving birth to her premature baby sister.

Meanwhile, her scumbag father has been using the household money to support his mistress, and now brings the woman and her son into their home.

The mistress urges the scumbag to make Yin Tao's mother his concubine so she can keep earning money for them?

With her fiery temper, Yin Tao snaps: As if you're worthy!

Yin Tao exposes their schemes and gives the scoundrels a thorough thrashing, but they refuse to give up.

Outnumbered and outmatched, Yin Tao stops the carriage of Feng Wansu, a noblewoman from the capital.

She gives her wholehearted loyalty to the eldest Miss Feng and helps her return to the capital to fight her way to the top of the household.

In return, Miss Feng protects Yin Tao and her widowed mother and siblings.

After moving to the capital, Yin Tao helps Miss Feng marry into a prince's household as she wished, while Yin Tao becomes the newlywed wife of Ye Xiuwen, the stern-faced general.

The young ladies of the capital are heartbroken: Poor General Ye, forced to marry a country girl from the Princess's household.

But Yin Tao is busy opening an embroidery shop, a gold shop, and a textile factory, leading her family to success, while repeatedly turning down Ye Xiuwen's marriage proposals.
