After the breakup, I spent every day pretending that I was okay. Until one day, my mother half-forced me to "seek marriage" and met someone who had also lost her true love. We went from strangers to familiarity, to tearing apart each other's seemingly scabbed wounds, and finally allowing the wounds to truly heal. This is a story of healing in both directions.
