I've been reading for decades and have tried every kind of book. I don't blindly worship famous authors. I've read so much over the years, yet there are books by some big-name authors I've never read, or gave up on after the opening because I didn't like them. I don't have any particular favorite genre. I read whatever's good, and I'm getting pickier all the time. I want originality, good writing, a smooth plot, and believable events. I'm a bit obsessive, and even one glaring flaw is enough to make me drop a book.
