This is the one I'm following right now, A Wizard's Journey . This book is very long, and I skipped many chapters while reading it because I wanted to read the main plot, which is about the rapid growth of wizard civilization and the fight against the abyss civilization. I read a lot of books. Usually when I run out of books, I will look for favorite authors and see if there are new books. I have read the early San Shao's "Child of Light" and "The Kind Death" before.
