There was a super popular pet book some time ago. I thought it was a hype before so I didn't read it. Recently I have been browsing through it and found that although it is not that amazing, it is indeed a good book that I can read. The dialogues are funny and witty, and the portrayal of the characters, whether they are humans or animals, is exquisite. The origin stories and functions of the animal spirits are unexpected and reasonable, and the sense of substitution is quite good. The emotional descriptions are also in place, but the pace is slow, and I personally feel that it is a more leisurely type of writing. It is suitable for laughing and passing the time when you are bored.
