Good Books Should Be Seen by More People

I'm halfway through the first chapter and can't wait to share it with you all. The author is so realistic that I want to cry. I grew up in an era where it was rare to eat meat or white rice for a month. It was rare to have several dishes on the table at the same time. It was rare to eat chicken, duck or fish. It was almost impossible to eat a big bowl of food before the Chinese New Year or weddings and weddings. I was reluctant to wear new clothes and new shoes before the Chinese New Year.
