Ascending to Immortality

Beneath the Celestial Venerable, all are but ants. In his previous life, he was a solitary young lay Buddhist who devoted himself to studying Buddhist teachings. In this life, he had hoped to cultivate in peace amid the mountains and rivers, but everything changed when he was eleven.

Gifted with a spiritual root, he had to embark on the path to immortality. If he did not want to become a stepping stone for others, he had no choice but to fight against the current and break through trial after trial. Whether it was the Dao's boundlessness or Buddhism's void, he would bring them together and ultimately prove that Buddhism and the Dao were one.
