Without these extremely smart villains, would the story still be exciting? The old lady, the eldest lady, Madam Cui and others do not have the magnanimity and means that a daughter of aristocratic family should have, and the heroine who defeated them is not something to be proud of. 2. The heroine is so perfect. In the story, the heroine has no petty temper, no small-mindedness, no jealousy or jealousy. Simply put, she is a Mary Sue. I think a character that is too perfect lacks a sense of existence. If Wang Xifeng hadn't been a cruel and jealous woman, and Lin Daiyu hadn't been a playful and withdrawn girl with the same generous personality as Xue Baochai, the characters in Dream of Red Mansions wouldn't be so three-dimensional and vivid. I like that characters in novels have advantages and disadvantages, but the characters in novels, shaped by the author, can make me tolerate their shortcomings because of their advantages. 3. Their pathetic and despicable qualities reflect the heroine's magnanimity. However, there are many characters in the novel that can be used to foil the heroine, but there is no girl with looks, talent, wisdom, and means who can stand shoulder to shoulder with the heroine. For example, it is normal for male protagonists to look down upon them like Baili Yanyu. This does not mean "deep love", but if a girl who is as good as the heroine, or even better, appears in front of the hero, and the hero can still stand firm and keep his mind unwavering, it means that the hero is emotionally infatuated. Or like the heroine's father, who has only remembered Tang Qing for many years, which is certainly touching. If the eldest princess was gentle and kind, but the heroine's father still only loved Tang Qing, his actions would be more touching.
