Song Zixiang, a student at a renowned science and engineering university, unexpectedly meets his true love, Zhuxin, at an art exhibition. Around the same time, he meets another woman at school whom he admires just as much: Yin Jingxue. Moved by Song Zixiang’s sincerity, Yin Jingxue gradually goes from disliking him to falling for him, and comes to regard him as her confidant. But Song Zixiang keeps believing what others say and wrongly blaming Yin Jingxue, while mistaking her best friend for Zhuxin. As a result, he and Jingxue drift farther and farther apart. Under Zhong Haoran’s protection, Yin Jingxue gradually matures and gains a new understanding of love. Then Song Zixiang unexpectedly discovers that Zhuxin is actually Yin Jingxue, but by then he can no longer be with her. To everyone else, Song Zixiang and Yin Jingxue seem made for each other, but they are both too proud and each carries a knot in their heart that they cannot undo. Their love is like the sun and the moon: they chase each other because they love each other, and miss each other time and again because they keep chasing. They will forever pursue one another’s shadows, yet forever leave their own shadows behind for the other······
