Springtime in the Apricot Garden

An ordinary woman approaching forty, with no special talents and not even a golden finger to her name, is sent back to ancient times as if Heaven were playing a joke on her. Faced with a poor, bare-bones farmhouse in the countryside, she’s dumbfounded. If you were going to send me back, you could at least have made me a femme fatale! Or better yet, you could have saved a place for someone who didn’t get to live a good life in her previous one. What’s the point of sending me back here like this?!
