Dig a Trap and Devour You

A little rabbit spots a carrot, her eyes gleaming. She hops and hops and hops until she finally reaches her destination. With a slurp, she pulls back a stream of drool. Her little paws inch closer to the carrot, but suddenly a big gray wolf leaps out. The little rabbit turns and runs, only to fall straight into a deep pit with a thud.

“Hahahaha! Aren’t you great at running? Why’d you stop?”

Xiao Ran never thought she was stupid. Her guiding principle was that if she couldn’t win, she could always run. But even the surest foot can stumble, and in the end, she fell for it.
