Reborn in the Han Palace

An ordinary office worker lived the same nine-to-five routine every day. Then one morning, she woke up to discover she had become a lowly palace maid in Weiyang Palace at the start of the Han dynasty, two thousand years ago. She had to get up before dawn to clean and was punished at the slightest excuse, living the most miserable life imaginable. Heavens, God, Allah, Bodhisattva, someone please save her! She wants to go home! But this is only the beginning. What should she do now? Keep scraping by, since a bad life is better than no life at all, or use her modern mind to outwit her foes and escape this nightmare of a life? Take down the mistresses, outmaneuver the favored concubines, take control of the court: there's nothing she can't handle. Watch me take the Han palace by storm!
