Falling in Love with Eve

Eve explores the helplessness and emotional release that come with love, the painful memories that come with friendship, and the coldness and fear of reaching out that can accompany family ties. Everyone has a bright future ahead and a carefree youth, but youth is no excuse for mistakes. Take one wrong step, and the road ahead may become bleak.

Eve follows four young women throughout the story:

Xiang Wei: Her love is unhealthy, and she remains cool and indifferent toward her family. When it comes to romance, she wants to be loved, but is afraid of receiving love. She doesn't want the person who loves her to forget her the very next moment.

Wang Dan: She has never dared to face the fear within her and chooses to run away. Helplessness and pain are her inevitable lot.

Hu Meimei: She throws herself into an online boyfriend's web of affection like a moth to a flame. After suffering the pain of love and betrayal, the ugly face of reality leaves her utterly changed.

Sun Qian: She is an ordinary young woman on a university campus, like cool, pure water, a painkiller when heartache grows unbearable.

The young men who fall in love with them seem willing to ask for nothing in return, yet they are also full of self-pity. This is Eve's temptation: if you choose the joy of heaven in one moment, you must be ready to endure the trials of hell the next.
