The Fading Rose

The story is about the love between the protagonists, Qin Jun and Wang Li. Through those years, they shared hardships and joys, striving together to build their careers. Once they had established themselves and were ready to discuss marriage, Qin Ming, Qin Jun’s father, looked down on Wang Li, who had come from the countryside to the city to work in a hair salon, because his family had been part of the official elite for two generations. Qin Ming kept finding excuses to break them up, but Qin Jun remained steadfast, and Wang Li’s love for him was sincere. With no other way to stop his son’s marriage, Qin Ming picked at every flaw and found the weaknesses in Qin Jun and Wang Li’s relationship. He saw that Wang Li was willing to put career ahead of love, so he secretly connected them with the support they needed to advance their careers. Then Yan Ni, the police chief’s daughter, entered the picture. Faced with Wang Li and Qin Jun’s love, Wang Li had no choice but to leave the relationship, and instead became his mistress. But Yan Ni was determined to make Qin Jun and Wang Li sever their affair for good. Using her father’s authority, she set about doing what she needed to Wang Li. When Wang Li learned the truth, she was so moved that her rival became Wang Bo, and the two became sisters. But when Wang Li discovered that she had been manipulated like a prop on a stage by Yan Ni, her kind heart was tortured by love and hate. As events unfolded, she was forced to take revenge on Yan Ni, ultimately becoming a source of sorrow for everyone.
