A talisman can do small things like heal the sick, save lives, capture demons, and subdue monsters; at its greatest, it can make the Five Sacred Mountains topple and rivers flow backward. So what if talisman techniques were incorporated into card-making, with magical formations drawn using the methods of the immortals? Wouldn't that make it possible to dominate another world?
