Tang Sanzang: On This Journey West, I Shall Bury the Gods

The gods and Buddhas filling the heavens are hypocrites. The journey to retrieve the scriptures was always a transaction for fortune.

Ten cycles of reincarnation: not the reincarnation of Jin Chanzi, but the ten descents into ruin of a Grand Necromancer sealed away.

His name is Tang Sanzang.

He buries demons, immortals, and the laws of heaven and earth.

One shake of his monk's staff, and the coffin opens as the Three Realms fall silent.

He journeys west not to seek scriptures, but to settle an old score.

"If the Buddha is guilty, this humble monk will erect a tombstone for him too, and lay him to rest."
