Eerie Descent: I'm Really Not Mentally Ill

"I can see the uncanny."

"Go on..."

"Your world isn't real. It's a new world stitched together from overlapping spaces, created by multidimensional timelines slipping out of alignment."

"What do you mean?"

"Exactly what I said!"

"Hmm... All right. Then tell me why."

Click!

The crisp sound of flint striking metal broke the conversation in the room.

The middle-aged doctor in a white coat looked a little annoyed. He had just lit a cigarette and hadn't even brought it to his lips when a psychiatric patient named Lin Jiu reached out to stop him.

"Thanks, I don't smoke."

"I'm smoking it myself. I wasn't going to offer you any."

"I know. That's why I'm reminding you that I don't smoke."

"Honestly, you..." After a whole morning of this, the middle-aged doctor finally lost his composure and nearly snapped.

The bald doctor sitting in the chair hurriedly waved a hand, signaling him not to interrupt.

"Go on."

"Where was I?"

"That this world isn't real, and... that you can see ghosts."

"You don't believe me?"

"Explain your reasoning first."

"I can tell you don't believe me at all."

"..."

The uncanny had descended, and Lin Jiu had somehow transmigrated into this strange, unknown world. Everyone said he was abnormal, a psychiatric patient, but he wanted to say:

"I'm really not crazy!"
