Good Grief! I've Become Seven-Year-Old Xiao Jian

Title: Oh My God! I've Become Seven-Year-Old Xiao Jian

Synopsis

Fang Yan was curled up at home rewatching My Fair Princess. When he opened his eyes again, he had transmigrated to the turbulent Qing Dynasty and become seven-year-old Fang Yan, the future Xiao Jian, destined to wander the martial world and bear a blood feud.

The first thing he saw was the execution ground in Lin'an.

His biological father, Fang Zhihang, the governor of Zhejiang, was about to be publicly executed for a literary crime.

According to the original plot, after his father died, his mother, Du Xueyin, would separate him from his infant sister Fang Ci, also known as Xiao Yanzi, sending them north and south. Then she would set herself on fire and die with her husband.

His parents would be dead, he and his sister would be separated, and his sister would be thrown into the Xinzheku to spend her life as the lowliest servant.

No! He didn't want to play out this script for even one second!

At the execution ground, the seven-year-old wrenched his hand free of his mother's and stepped forward to stop the imperial envoy in full view of everyone.

He couldn't save Fang Zhihang, whose death sentence had already been decided, but he gritted his teeth and seized Fang Shizhou, the true culprit behind the frame-up, publicly exposing his evil deeds.

He didn't ask for the whole family to be pardoned. He begged for just one deal, even at the cost of his life:

His mother, his infant sister, and he would willingly go into exile in Ningguta, as long as they were exiles and not enslaved as military bondservants.

At that moment, a crack appeared in the tragedy that had been set in stone.

Could a child's words at the execution ground put out the flames engulfing the Fang family and avert the fate of their separation?

The Xiao Jian who once carried a heart full of hatred would never come to be.

From now on, Fang Yan, with his modern memories, would take his mother and little sister and set out along the unknown road into exile, declaring war on their old fate.
