Beast Taming: Why Has His Black Goat Started Whispering?

After transmigrating to the Primordial Beast-Taming Era, danger from beast tides could strike at any moment. Making contracts with spirit beasts and gaining their evolutionary and feedback abilities was humanity's only way to fight back.

Gongsun Yan, a beast tamer of eligible age from Gongyang Village, was stumped when it came to choosing his first spirit beast.

Gongyang Village offered three choices: bighorn sheep, cliff goats, and domestic goats.

The three kinds of sheep were much alike, with no clear difference in quality. But just then, the Custom Evolution System appeared.

[Available Evolution Targets]

[Young Bighorn Sheep: Strong and sturdy, with a pair of dark brown curved horns, it is a natural candidate for champion strongman. It can be customized toward strength. Estimated potential: Ordinary, High.]

[Young Cliff Goat: The genes in its bloodline grant it a sense of balance far beyond that of ordinary sheep. A natural cliff dancer, it can be customized toward balance. Estimated potential: Ordinary, High.]

[Young Domestic Goat: A common goat with a distinctive little tuft of beard. It can be customized toward everyday life. Estimated potential: Ordinary, Low.]

As Gongsun Yan marveled at the three prompts before him, his gaze swept over the flock and settled on a sheep being shunned by the others. Its fur was black as ink, and it looked like a crossbreed of a black goat.

[Young Black Goat: Its dark coat gives it a soul unlike any other. It is weak, it is helpless, yet it is also as powerful as ever. It seems to possess a certain unknown talent and can be customized toward the unknown. Estimated potential: ???]
