Have You Heard? The Marquis's Heir Is Only Three

[Cute Kid] [Everyone's Favorite] [Cannon-Fodder Comeback] [System] [Feel-Good Story] [Real Child, No Romance]

Shi Xia was abandoned by her scumbag father and his family.

They seized the inheritance left by her mother and maternal grandfather, then went to the capital so her father could marry a new wife.

Luckily, the heir's wife of the Marquis of Anyuan happened to pass by and took Xiaxia home.

A major event took place at the Marquis of Anyuan's residence today: a little young miss had arrived!

The Marquis of Anyuan's family had once been illustrious, but their heir suddenly fell into a coma after being poisoned, and the old marquis suffered a stroke from shock and rage.

Everyone thought the marquis's family would keep plunging downhill until they hit rock bottom.

The emperor ignored them, and the ministers kept their distance, afraid the family's bad luck might rub off on them.

But to everyone's surprise, just days after the little young miss of the Shen family came home, things at the marquis's residence suddenly started getting better.

Xiaxia hugged the System and waved her little hand. The head-of-household halo was now in place.

The Marquis of Anyuan, who had been sickly and needed help just to walk, was suddenly full of energy.

The heir, who should have died from the poison, began to recover.

The eldest son, who had fallen off a cliff and should have been reduced to bones, returned safe and sound with a chest of precious ancient books, drawing renowned scholars and miracle doctors to the estate of their own accord.

The second son, who used to fight and cause trouble every other day, stopped wasting his time and began training hard in martial arts.

The young master still had no love for books, but quietly started doing business on his own, determined to leave everyone stunned.

Meanwhile, the scumbag father's family had thought that attaching themselves to the Duke's household would let them enjoy all the riches and glory they could want.

But his career as an official went nowhere. He was constantly mistreated and even incurred the emperor's displeasure.

The System stayed out of sight, its work done.

The Shen family sharpened their knives and turned toward the Lu family.

You bullied our little young miss and still expect to live happily?

Dream on!
