Within the Spider's Web

Human civilization lasted two years and seven months from the discovery of the cosmic spiders to its extinction.

No protagonist, no golden finger, no miracles. Only lives struggling endlessly within the spiders' web.

The real old-fashioned way of doing things by hand: write it out first, then use optical character recognition.

I've been writing web novels for ten years, and lately I've been reflecting on myself. All these years, I've had ideas and titles, but never published what I wrote; published without getting a contract; signed a contract without finishing the book. I've probably had no fewer than a hundred such works. But was there even one that I truly wanted to write, without regard for anything else?
