Three Nights to Suppress the Sunblade

At the third watch of the night, Yin and Yang connect.

The Pact of Yin and Yang lays down an ironclad rule: evil spirits cannot take human lives directly. They can only tempt mortals into greed, make them sign a Yin Contract, and use their lifespans to nurture gu. When the Guardians of Yang pass through at this hour, the moment they use divine power, the Heavenly Dao will appear.

Xu Jin bears an ancient source of life. His life blade can sever contracts, ferry departed souls, and cut through all manner of rare things in this world.

For a thousand years, beings lurking in the dark have been laying their plans. They deliberately set deadly traps that borrow lifespans in broad daylight, forcing him to choose. If he acts, his life flame will burn away bit by bit; if he stands by, mortals will be dragged to their deaths by their own greed.

He alone possesses this power. He can protect the mortal world, or overturn the balance of Yin and Yang.

When the blade that guards the world is also the gate to its destruction, how should he make his move?
