A Taoist Priest Goes to College

A Taoist Priest Goes to College: After his master passes away, an 18-year-old Taoist discovers that he needs a degree to inherit the temple. So this "fish that slipped through the net" of nine years of compulsory education heads down the mountain with his luggage and enrolls in school. He uses the Tao Te Ching to deconstruct math and applies the focus he learned from funeral rites to studying. There's no comeback or face-slapping, only the confusion of adolescence, subtle interactions with his deskmate, and steady growth.
