The Heart's Archive

In the streets and alleys at dusk, there is a place for storing troubles that ordinary people cannot see.

Wen Yu'an is its only keeper.

People come carrying long-suppressed sorrow, resentment, and regret. Once they make up their minds to let go, she can store away and seal these heavy emotions, helping them shed their burdens and move forward.

She has witnessed countless partings and reconciliations, and stored away thousands upon thousands of pains that have outlived their time. She thought that every trouble would eventually fall silent and fade away. But after one storage attempt after another failed, she learned the truth: some warmth is treasured again and again, untouched by the passage of time, and can never be stored away.

She heals the wounds in countless hearts, yet keeps watch alone over an old yearning she cannot put away.

With her three-year contract nearing its end, she, who has always helped others cross over, must finally face the memories hidden in her own heart.

The sorrows of this world can be sealed away and forgotten, but the warmth treasured with all one's heart will stay alive forever.

Only after helping the world lay its troubles to rest can one learn to make peace with oneself.
