Red Moon: The Last Sanctuary

Three months after the Red Moon appeared, the city was divided into more than a dozen rule-based horror domains. Each had its own rules, and anyone who broke them died. The survivors either hid or struggled to stay alive in the gaps between the rules.

Lin Wan, 26, was a former crisis publicist. She had no combat skills and no superpowers. Her one talent was seeing the logic behind the rules when everyone else was panicking.

Her younger sister, Lin Xi, had been missing for two years. On the day the Red Moon appeared, Lin Wan received one last text from her: "Sis, don't look for me. I'm still alive."

Over the past three months, Lin Wan had established a convenience-store safehouse and taken in more than a dozen survivors. She relied on her understanding of the rules, but had never thought of becoming a hero. Until one day, she heard a sentence during a radio broadcast:

An encrypted distress signal, using the secret code she and her sister had made up as children. Signal source: the city center. Deep within a domain.

"I'm still alive. Sis, come find me." Lin Wan decided to set out.
