Beast Taming: It All Begins When a Fluffy One Takes Me In as a Cub

What would you do if I summoned a mythical creature?

Lin Qiao is an ordinary beast-taming high school student who believes she was raised by Grandma Lin.

Sure, sometimes her shadow runs around on its own, picks up her homework and backpack, and even holds a pen to grade her test papers... That's all normal, right?

Then, after a brush with death, she and her shadow stare at each other. The good news is that she didn't die. Better still, her shadow isn't a supernatural phenomenon, but a mythical creature trying to protect her.

From then on, Lin Qiao begins her cheat-enabled (crossed out) wonderful life.

Missed out on the free pet beasts at the pet-beast breeding center?

Lin Qiao takes out a mythical pet-beast egg her shadow gave her.

No resources to raise pet beasts?

Lin Qiao silently watches as her shadow leaves behind antiques from its private collection and a large supply of S-rank materials.

When the scions of other prestigious families play the family card, ready to humiliate this clueless little beast tamer,

Lin Qiao, with absolutely no background, can only pity them as she pulls out an earring that can contact a certain shadow in an emergency.

A beast-taming world where people and pet beasts help each other.
