Reborn in 1977: Starting as a Technical Translator

In January 1977, Zhong Baohua was reborn.

His younger sister was still alive, his parents were still young, and there was still time to change everything.

The sugar mill was installing ZEISS testing equipment. No one could make sense of the German documents, and they brought Zhong Baohua face to face with West German engineers.

From temporary worker at the sugar mill to part-time translator, he changed his family's life.

In the twelfth lunar month, he gathered his younger sister, younger maternal cousin, and younger paternal cousin.

"Do you want to go to college?"

In the 1977 college entrance exam, he came first in the county in science and got into the economics department. This time, he did not follow the old path of his former self, an engineering student.

He translated foreign-language documents and worked as a bilingual interpreter at the Canton Fair.

Later, he returned to southern Jiangxi.

He founded factories, took charge of industries, developed the county economy, and built industrial and supply chains.
