Little Sweetie, Your Subordinate Has Overstepped

Li Qingfeng, a graduate of a prestigious university, has a formal job offer from a state-owned enterprise in hand, but dives headfirst into a leading cultural company to work as a temp. Everyone says outsourced workers are the lowest of the low. Only he knows he's doing it for Cheng Youran. She is his direct supervisor, gentle as candy on the outside, with ambition and a calculating mind beneath her eyes. In public, he is her obedient subordinate, shouldering four times the workload and taking the workplace's open and hidden attacks for her. In private, he inches closer, determined to cross the boundaries of their positions. A work log of 130,000 characters records two years of her joys and sorrows. Office infighting, power plays, and a push and pull that began on a stormy night. She uses his talent and longs for his support; he knows it's a trap, yet willingly steps into it, content to be her most loyal protector. Only at the very end does Li Qingfeng wonder: in this game, who has really trapped whom?
