Relic Scavenger

The old world had already been reduced to ruins in the "Great Rout". It was not destroyed by the flames of war, but by humanity itself - the consciousness and emotions of millions of people converged into a torrent, burning through the film of reality. The indescribable darkness seeped through the cracks, causing the earth to become distorted and the creatures to go crazy. The survivors exchanged their blood for an iron law: four people are the critical number of people to take risks. If there is one more, cognitive disturbance will accelerate the collapse of the world. Zero is just an ordinary timid handyman in a border settlement. He has never held a sword and cannot read forbidden runes. The reason for entering the underground ruins is tacky but true: the legendary scattered gold, gems and ancient magic props are enough for him and the settlement to survive three cold winters. However, there was only cold murderous intent at the entrance to the ruins. The skeletons and undead are approaching with clanging sounds on the gravel, the big stick skeletons are wielding rusty iron rods, and the broken sword skeletons are hiding in the shadows waiting for an opportunity to attack; what is even more terrifying are the weak believers. They do not need to use their hands, but just talk in their mouths, and their reason can melt like ice and snow, and fear, despair and paranoia spread along their blood vessels. Just when Zero thought he was going to die here, gunfire tore through the black mist. The blind robber walked out from behind the stone pillar, white smoke still coming from the muzzle of the old-fashioned musket, and dirty corpse blood dripping from the blade of the short sword. He didn't ask about Zero's origin, and just said: "My life is gone, what's the use of inheritance? Come with me."
