Game Descends: A Broken Dagger from the Start

One summer night, a game descended upon the world. Its high degree of freedom attracted a huge number of players, and Mu Xueyao was one of them. When she entered the game, the System gave her nothing but a battered dagger. She found herself deep in the forest, with no sign of another living soul. As she searched for a village, a rabbit blocked her path. Its blood-red eyes fixed on her. The next moment, it transformed into a three-meter-tall monster. After a hard-fought struggle, she followed a straight path and finally found a village. As she settled into life there, she gradually realized that the villagers were not what they seemed. Half a month later, a horde of magical beasts attacked. To hold them back, Mu Xueyao joined the villagers in defending the border. After the horde was defeated, Mu Xueyao packed her belongings and set off for the imperial capital. At the capital's academy, she made many companions. Working together with them, she uncovered the imperial family's greatest conspiracy.
