Crossing Calamities

[Sword cultivator Si He + demon king Qi Xiao | 1v1 | bittersweet angst | Immortals and demons follow different paths] In the 140th year of the Xuanqi era, a genius girl emerged from Lingyou Pavilion. Wielding the Frostglory Sword, she brought the pavilion to new heights. Si He was the sect's youngest chief disciple, the foremost of the righteous path, and the sect's future leader. Many disciples envied her extraordinary talent, but she never cared. Since she was little, the sect leader had taught her: “For a hundred years, the great sects have done everything they can to kill the King of Ten Thousand Demons. But that great demon keeps absorbing the souls of the dead, growing ever more powerful and killing many of our disciples. So, A-He, one day you must avenge those disciples who died.” Si He cared only about slaying demons and exorcising evil. She had spent hundreds of years cultivating for one purpose: to kill the King of Ten Thousand Demons, Qi Xiao. She had always been aloof and taciturn, with no close friends, except for her adorable junior fellow disciple, Wen Jingran ˃˄˂̥̥ Later, Si He wrote a few words on the stone wall at the sect's Trial Cliff: 【With my sword, I cut down evil; with my heart, I protect the mortal world, Si He】 Years later, Qi Xiao happened upon that vow, and only bitterness remained in his heart.
