Douluo Dalu: The Unrivaled Tang Sect: Red and White Portents, a Night of Wandering Ghosts

"Investigation team's mission target, codename: Mingzhao. An Evil Soul Master with the cultivation of a Soul Sage, who once turned a small town of several thousand people into a ghost-ridden wasteland."

An elite team of students from Shrek Inner Court, shouldering the heavy responsibility of protecting peace across the continent, set out to eradicate evil. They successfully found their target in the Valley of the Dead.

That night, paper figures dressed in hemp clothes and straw rain capes climbed out of the muddy swamp. Ghostly shadows clad in red robes and adorned with gold and silver emerged from the red mist.

They carried ghost coffins on their shoulders and bore ghost palanquins.

All twelve of them, without exception, drowned in foul, murky corpse water or burned to death in the eerie green flames of human-fat candles at midnight, as hundreds of ghosts roamed. After dying, they were imprisoned beside the ghost coffins and palanquins, becoming members of the ghostly horde.

"Evil Soul Masters must all be brought to justice. Shrek will never let you go! You will pay for the bloodshed you've caused with your life!" Zhang Lexuan roared, cursing him with her dying breath.

But he only watched her coldly, letting the candle flames burn her to ashes.

"Red and white collide, and a hundred ghosts roam the night. The living must stop, and the dead must retreat."

I am a ghost god who walks the world, and the nightmare you can never escape.
