A Letter of Farewell

What you and I could not accomplish in this life need not entangle us in the next. Given another chance, I chose to leave the past behind and live for myself. But I never expected to be reborn in ancient times as a baby murdered by my own father. Luckily, I survived and was adopted by a kind family. Just as I thought I could grow up safely and live out my days in peace, fate had other plans. What was meant to come still came, and the end of happiness became the start of a nightmare. Yet you tell me this isn't over, and I refuse to give up.
