I Became a New British Aristocrat in 1912

It is 1912, two years before the outbreak of the First World War. In Southampton, the city where my family lives, workers’ wages have been slashed dramatically, and masses of people are fleeing. I think one reason is that I’ve become a newly minted capitalist aristocrat.
