I’m at the Same School as My Childhood Friend and Ex, but Nobody Believes We Broke Up

An argument after the college entrance exams broke up childhood friends Liang Jingyue and Pei Qiu. They gave each other the cold shoulder all the way until the start of the school year. They resented each other and got jealous, yet neither could let the other go. They knew exactly how they felt, but neither wanted to be the first to back down. At last, in the second month of the school year, Pei Qiu gave in first during a club activity. Liang Jingyue: “Even horses don't go back to eat old grass. You expect me to?” Pei Qiu: “Rabbits aren't supposed to eat the grass by their burrows, either. Didn't you do that?” Liang Jingyue: “You're the kind of grass you can only eat once. You get tired of it easily!” Well, what else could he do? He had to pursue her. Liang Jingyue: “I was too young back then. We rushed into dating without my ever getting a proper courtship. This time, I'm going to make up for everything I missed.” Their classmates, who could see what was going on, all said, “You two are trying out some brand-new kind of romance. We've never dated like that, so we don't understand your couple's little games. And you, Pei Qiu, stop talking about getting back together after breaking up. No one can even tell where the mirror between you two supposedly broke.”
