In reality, the safety cities of every alien civilization are all wondering how they can sneak into this prison! To put it bluntly, the safety cities are just interstellar slums where going hungry for days on end is the norm. Find a crystal core and awaken an ability, and you’re suddenly somebody. So how on earth did a full nine hundred million Blue Star civilians get into this space prison, where they’re guaranteed to survive, receive food rations, have official jobs, get expert combat training, and sleep comfortably? No more worrying about the safety cities being overrun. No food shortages, and even space pirates turn around when they see them. And if something really does happen, no problem.
