This is a diary, the story of a girl starting at age eighteen. If you are interested in reading it, the author has some additional worldbuilding and a few things to keep in mind before you begin. This is a fantastical novel set in an imaginary world. Please don't look for real-life counterparts; any similarities are purely coincidental. Also, this is a diary, not a chronicle. Aside from the bonus chapters, the author writes entirely from the protagonist's perspective, so you will only see what she sees. Next, a little more background to help you enter this diary. The girl who wrote it is An Yiqi Su Tulan, a hybrid of the Kulan and Samo peoples. The Samo are a demon race recorded in the history books, and their bloodline can cause people to lose their reason. Because of her Samo blood, our protagonist has spent eighteen years hiding in a black robe and avoiding the light. It is only when our story begins that she starts talking to other people. One line in the text perhaps sums it up. It is borrowed from the song "Little Chatty Day": "Once you quietly take a single step, everything will change."
