During the urban reconstruction project, surveyor Lin Yuan watched an ancient tree being cut down with his own eyes. The next second, the construction site was still noisy, there was no disaster, and no one knew what happened. It wasn't until the leaf veins began to change, non-existent doors appeared in reality, and voices from strange worlds arrived one after another that humans discovered that the worlds were never isolated from each other. They can communicate, exchange, deceive, plunder, and even regard another world and the civilization in it as resources. Humanity once thought that the biggest unknown was whether there was a world outside the world.
