Shanghai Bund, 1930: Six-Finger Enters the Game

In 1930s Shanghai, foreigners, gangs, spies, and merchants carved the city into countless territories.

Yu Zhi was just a young hustler who shook dice in a casino. But he had a pair of unusual hands: six fingers that could detect a trace of mercury or a lead pellet hidden inside a die, letting him earn his keep at the tables.

The old thief Wang said Yu Zhi was born for the trade and insisted on taking him as his final disciple.

But Yu Zhi didn't want to be a thief or a hero. He just wanted to make money, dance, and get by.

Then three gunshots rang out on Chenghuang Temple Street, and his life was swept into the secret war.

Then a pair of hands dragged him into a much bigger gamble. This city was the greatest gambling table of all.

This time, the dice he rolled were his own fate.
